The Mary Scott House, home of Fantasia Bed and Breakfast, has offered a tradition of hospitality for nearly two decades. In 1990 it was the site for the Charleston Symphony Designer House. Annually it is on the spring and fall tours of homes and gardens sponsored by the Historic Charleston Foundation and the Preservation Society of Charleston, respectively. It is further distinguished by being one of ten Charleston homes all located in the National Resister Historic district offering bed and breakfast accommodations.

Some suites in this historic home have their original operating fireplaces for romantic winter evenings and several still have original hardwood floors. Free, secure off-street parking is a very welcome amenity. Internet access is available in the main house living room along with wireless Internet access to guests whom have a wireless ready laptop. The owners’ collection of antique furniture and linens mixed with period reproductions and oriental rugs graciously compliment this historic home.

Guests in the main house are also treated to a full Southern breakfast in the dining room each morning, while those in the Kitchen and Carriage Houses are provided with generous continental breakfasts.

All suites have private baths with mini-refrigerators or complete kitchens as well as central heat and air and cable television. Daily newspapers are available at breakfast. Each suite has or has access to its own piazza over looking the garden.
